The heinous system of delation was at work in Anhui province.

One of the worst features of the Chinese system of religious persecution is that it gives money as a reward for delation. This creates a widespread culture of generalized suspect. Your neighbor may be your enemy, not even because he or she disagrees with your religion but because the rewards may offer a welcome supplement to a meager monthly income.
In the early morning, many Chinese perform physical exercises. Notwithstanding the surveillance, some of them may still be Falun Gong practitioners, and sometimes they may give leaflets to those exercising with them, or leave them around to be found by the morning gymnasts.
Now, there is a risk that these leaflets may become a precious catch for the bounty hunters eager to denounce Falun Gong practitioners for a fee.
Two Falun Gong practitioners called Yang and Zhao are in jail in Anhui province and face heavy sentences. One fellow morning practitioner of physical exercises in Huayuan county, under the administration of Bengbu city, Anhui province, called Xu found a Falun Gong left and went to the Public Security, receiving 2,000 yuan (little more than $300) as a reward.
Xu’s report allowed the police to arrest Yang and Zhao on September 10, 2020, and seize Falun Gong material in Zhao’s home.
The police and CCP Bengbu Municipal Party Committee are now hailing Xu’s civic deed.
We wonder whether Xu realizes that for $300 he sent two fellow citizens to jail and most probably to torture, which is a common fate for Falun Gong practitioners. There should be something deeply wrong in a system that would encourage you to sell the life and liberty of your neighbors for $300.
