Bhante Dharmapala (Claudio Torrero) was born in 1956 in Torino, where he graduated in Philosophy at the local University. He taught philosophy in high schools and founded the cultural association Interdependence. The author of several books on philosophy and inter-religious dialogue, he was ordained in 2018 as a Buddhist monk.
