Attila Miklovicz received his BA in economics (specialized in tourism and hotel
management) and mainly worked in that field before his attention turned to study of religions. He later enrolled to University of Szeged, Department for the Study of Religion lead by Professor András Maté-Tóth, the strongest academic workshop in Hungary in studying new religious movements and religious pluralism for his Masters studies, and graduated summa cum laude. His thesis was about a small and evolving Vietnamese Buddhist community in Budapest that has never been researched before. Currently, Attila Miklovicz is a PhD student of the Doctoral School of Philosophy at the University of Pécs and his dissertation research is focusing on the demarcation line between axiomatic and religious thinking. He is an active official of the Hungarian Association of Doctoral Students, Faculty of Philosophy, and frequent lecturer at domestic and international conferences.
