Toshikazu Masubuchi
Toshikazu Masubuchi was born in 1946 in Utsunomiya City, Tochigi Prefecture. After a business career in his father’s construction company, he entered politics and in 1975 was elected as a member of the Tochigi Prefectural Assembly. In 1991, he was elected as the 80th Speaker of the same Assembly, where he served for nine terms until 2011.
