Sviatoslav Shevchuk has served as the Major Archbishop of Kyiv–Galicia and Primate of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church (UGCC) since 25 March 2011. Born on May 5, 1970, he was ordained as a priest in 1994 and appointed a bishop in 2009.
