Hirohisa Koide works as a medical doctor in Tokyo. A member of the Unification Church (now called Family Federation for World Peace and Unification), he survived a deprogramming attempt. He told his story in the book “Escape from Kidnappers” (Tokyo: Kogensya, 1996).
