D. Lowell Jensen
D. Lowell Jensen was the Assistant Attorney General of the Criminal Division of the United States Department of Justice from 1981 to 1983; the United States Associate Attorney General from 1983 to 1985, and the United States Deputy Attorney General from 1985 to 1986. He was nominated a federal judge on the United States District Court for the Northern District of California in 1986. After 28 years of service, he retired from the court in 2014.
