Boris Brander is a PhD student at the University of Turku. He is currently writing his doctoral dissertation "Vernacular Ritual Magic and the Magical Class Struggle of Tattarisuo Coven". He specializes in the study of Western esotericism, witchcraft and the history of magic. He has co-authored and edited two esoteric themed non-fiction books and runs an independent publishing house, Abraxas Publishing, which specializes in occultism and underground literature.
