Andrea Menegotto, born in Busto Arsizio in 1972, is a consultant and coach in the fields of safety and security. In addition to an intense volunteer activity on behalf of the socially marginalized, for many years he has been an independent researcher in the fields of religious pluralism and new religious movements. He has worked with CESNUR (Center for Studies on New Religions), and contributed to several of its edited books, including the monumental Encyclopedia of Religions in Italy. He has also contributed to the American encyclopedia Religions of the World: A Comprehensive Encyclopedia of Beliefs and Practices (2002). He regularly cooperates with Italian police forces in his specialized fields.
